Title sequence.

We decided to name our film Foreshadowed, after the literary device that suggests suspense in a story. We thought that this was effective after our narrative is based around a comic book tale. The word shadows suggests horror and mystery and fits into our genre. We decided not to use any opening words such as 'The' as the single title creates impact and it correlates with the conventions of our genre for example; Silk, Shutter and Reincarnation which are one word titles of successful J-horror films.

For the titles in our opening sequence, our idea was for the opening credits to be in the style of a comic book. Our inspiration for this came from movies such as Sin City and the Korean adaptation of Hansel and Gretel. We have decided to use japanese style font to further emphasise the genre of our film. These font examples are from dafont.com

'Korean caligraphy'
'Gang of three'

'Asian Guy'

'Takeout'
'Yorstat'
