The scene begins early evening with a panning shot of a young girl searching through library shelves, she then finds a strange comic book and as she attempts to borrow it, the librarian tells her it has no bar code and doesn't belong to the library. The girl is enchanted by the character on the front cover and as she walks away from the desk there is a zoom in on her hands and the front cover of the comic as she puts it into her bag regardless. We would then use a P.O.V shot whilst the girl is walking through her school corridors and going home, signifying her loneliness.
