In the context of media refers to the technology driven unification of different media channels.

One type of communications (e.g. newspaper) owns or is the sister company of another type of medium (radio or TV station).

Something that has 3 dimensions (e.g. Width, Length and Depth).
High Definition:
Refers to video having resolution substantially higher than traditional television systems.
